What we do
Our online mortgage review asks for a small number of details about your existing loan and shows an indicative comparison: the interest difference and possible term reduction if your loan were reviewed, alongside the figures you supplied. If you would like to take it further, we introduce you to a licensed financial adviser (such as a mortgage adviser) who can assess your circumstances properly.
What we do not do
We are not a bank or a lender, and we do not approve lending. The results our tools produce are indicative only and are not personalised financial advice, a quote, an offer, a pre-approval, or a recommendation of any lender or product. Any figure shown is subject to a full lender assessment of your income, expenses, credit history and security property.
How we are paid
Using our review tools is free to you. Where you ask to speak with an adviser and go on to arrange lending, Mortgage Calculator NZ may receive a referral fee from the adviser business or the adviser may receive commission from the lender. This never changes the rate you are offered, and we do not favour any lender in the figures we show you.
